BEST OF 2015! : Custer's Ride To Glory On the Trail to the Little Big Horn

The battle of the Little Bighorn, also known as Custer’s Last Stand and, by the Native Americans involved, the Battle of Greasy Grass Creek - was an armed engagement between a Lakota-Northern Cheyenne combined force and the 7th Cavalry Regiment of the United States Army. It occurred on June 25 and June 26, 1876, near the Little Bighorn River in eastern Montana territory, near what is now Crow agency, Montana.

The battle was the most famous action in the great Sioux war of 1876/77 (Also known as the Black Hills war) and was an overwhelming Victory for the Lakota and the Northern Cheyenne, including a column of 700 men led by George Armstrong Custer, suffered a severe defeat. Five of the seventh’s companies were annihilated; Custer was killed, as were two of his brothers, a nephew, and a brother in law. Total U.S. deaths were 268, including scouts, and 55 were wounded.

Ride to Glory, the latest series from Black Hawk features Custer and Troopers of the 7th Cavalry on the way to that fateful day in 1876. Cleverly designed so you can recreate any number of different scenes in beautiful 54mm, full color glory.... just add a building or two from the Black Hawk City scenic range and lead the troopers through a town in the old west. Add in some figures from The Cowboys series and build an Indian camp just out of town from the The Indians and you have a setting right out of a classic movie western. The possibilities are endless and no one does the American Old West like Black Hawk does.
