Sunday October 16th
The Royal Oak Toy Show at the Royal Oak Farmers Market
One of the best, and most complete shows in the mid-west. Many of the most respected vendors in the tri-state area will be on hand to buy, sell, and trade toys. “It is a truly unique show because there are lots of antique and old toys,” said Eric Olbrich, Toy Show promoter. “It will be vintage antique toys from the 1880s to 1990s. There will be more antiques than collectibles, but it will be a mix of both.” Olbrich said there will be no shortage of nostalgic toys, ranging from metal trucks to cast iron banks to metal horse drawn carriages to Dinky toys.

"There will be nearly 200 tables at the show. Among those dealers who will be selling their wares include: Bill Hauser of Clawson, who specializes in movie posters and nostalgia items; Michigan Toy Soldier Co. of Royal Oak that deals in miniature toy soldiers; Julian Thomas Toys of Fenton, who sell antique toys and parts; and Al Campbell of Roseville, who deals in nostalgia but is widely known for his old-time record shows.
