The Best Products of 2014: Masters in Miniatures - Military History Recreated - The Perry Brothers

Masters in Miniatures - Military History Recreated features the work of England's Perry Brothers in dioramas and vignettes from their personal collections and featuring many historical periods. For the uninitiated the Perry Brothers are well known 28mm sculptors Alan & Michael Perry currently operating Perry Miniatures. Former sculptors of Foundry Miniatures, the Perry brothers day job is with Games Workshop.

This is a  stunning book that will be treasured by war gamers  modelers and military history buffs for years to come, coupling as it does the excitement of battle with the sheer beauty of military costume, the skill of the sculptor and the miniature painter and perennial fascination of miniature world creation. You can almost feel the figures in the hundreds of photographs in this volume are actually moving and the sounds of battle can be heard with each turn of the page. Heck I've only had the book for one day and it's already inspired me to get up off my butt and get painting. View and/or Order Product HERE

From the Perry Brothers:
Last year those nice people at Atlantic Publishers asked if we could supply photos and some text for a glossy book on our figure collections. We agreed and the book is titled ‘Masters in Miniature’, not our suggestion!  It’s a 160 page hardback with nearly 400 photos with an intro by Rick Priestly
