FARLEY'S FIGURE OF THE WEEK #156: TSSD’s US Cavalry Dismounted Casualties

Sure, TSSD’s US Cavalry Dismounted Casualties (from the bagged sets #17) have a certain charm of implied carnage, but in the hands of a true master the gore comes to life, as it were. These 1/32 scale plastic figures are painted and embellished by artist Compton Creel and his best piece of work is one you probably would not see. It’s the flat, underside of the dead Bugler. Deader that dead, both his eyes have been dislodged and it appears that his nose has already been removed as a war prize. Creepy cool and our figure of the week.
