MTSC PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT: Da Vinci Brushes

It may seem obvious but both the characteristics and the quality of the brushes you use have a key role in the outcome of your work, especially when painting figures. Winsor & Newton and Da Vinci Brushes offer the best performance, especially when compared to synthetic ones, thanks to their softness and resistance.
Winsor & Newton Series 7 are great for oils while Da Vinci Series 10 work great with acrylics. The Da Vinci Series 373/374 are great for applying mud, washes & weathering and other brush destroying techniques. For Dry Brushing we recommend Micro Mark Series 81082 Dry Brushes or Da Vinci Series 9620 Professional Russian Red Sable Dry Brush.

With all these brushes their performance makes them worth the extra cost and they last long too. Always wash the brushes after each session, using soap and water, trim the tips from time to time and protect them with their plastic dust caps.
